Noël est célébré le 25 Décembre chaque année pour célébrer la naissance de Jésus Christ.

Nouvel An est célébré le 31 Décembre de chaque année pour marquer le début de Nouvel An.

Fête de la musique est un festival français qui est célébré le 21 June de chaque année. 

Mardi Gras est la semaine du carnaval pour marquer la fin des célébrations. Il tombe chaque année entre le 3 Février et le 9 Mars.

Pâques est une fête chrétienne pour marquer la résurrection de Jésus Christ.

La Fête nationale est célébré le 14 Juillet par an pour commémorer le jour de la Bastille.

Holidays and celebrations: The Festivals of France

Christmas is celebrated on December 25 each year to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

New Year is celebrated on December 31 of each year to mark the beginning of New Year.

Fête de la musique is a French festival that is celebrated on June 21st of each year. 

 Mardi Gras is the carnival week to mark the end of the celebrations.  It falls every year between February 3rd and March 9th.

Easter is a Christian holiday to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The national holiday is celebrated on July 14  every year to commemorate the day of the Bastille.

Speaking a language is about connection, not perfection.

A lot of people have this question in mind: Why learn another language? If you are at all curious about the world beyond your own day to day routine, speaking French (or any other language besides your native tongue) can upgrade your life by increasing opportunities for career, living, travel, adventure, friendship and love. The more languages you speak, the bigger your world becomes.

You can learn to speak another language, no matter your age or educational background; maybe you will never be mistaken for a native speaker but you will be able to communicate and that is what languages are for. Remember speaking a language is about connection, not perfection.
